One simple method of transferring data to your windows server is by doing so through Remote Desktop

Open the 'Remote Desktop Connection' program on your computer

Click Options -> Local Resources
under Local Devices and Resources select More

Enable any drives that you wish to have access to from the remote server, Save changes and then Connect

Note: You can also establish secure FTP sites using IIS or any other FTP Server software
